AI Animated Video Drives New Interest in Rand's Masterpiece
You’ve heard of movie trailers, right? Did you also know that book trailers have now become de rigueur? Big-name authors like Jack Carr, Stephen King, and Dan Brown all use them, so we thought…why not a book trailer for Ayn Rand’s masterpiece, Atlas Shrugged?
Early last week, The Atlas Society released the first-ever Atlas Shrugged book trailer—created using AI technology—and it has been a huge hit! More than 125K have watched it since its premiere on YouTube alone! We will release the video trailer across our other social media channels over the next few weeks and are confident the video will attract millions of views in short order.
The goal of this project—generously funded by a long-time donor—is to market Atlas Shrugged, specifically to a younger generation of anime fans. If we can inspire young readers to commit to reading a 1,200-page book, their lives will never be the same, and they’ll have a new perspective about themselves and the world in which they live.
Here are a few things YOU can do to help:
Order an Atlas Shrugged book bundle for a young person or friend in your life
Support this project so that it can be seen by more people around the world

Transcript Now Available for Eric Kaufmann Webinar
You asked, we delivered! Responding to popular demand, The Atlas Society is excited to release the next in our series of transcripts from some of our most popular and insightful interviews on The Atlas Society Asks. This time, Jennifer Grossman is joined by Eric Kaufmann, Ph.D., author of Whiteshift: Populism, Immigration, and the Future of White Majorities, to explore “the progressive storyline for white majorities as a morality tale celebrating their demise” and how the indignant resistance to that celebration is helping shape current political trends. Read through the interview transcript on our website or watch the interview HERE.
Throwback Thursday: Choosing Life (Part 2)
What is the meaning of life? Is there an importance to finding meaning, and what are the consequences if we don’t? These are some of the questions that Atlas Society founder David Kelley, Ph.D., discussed at an Atlas Society conference in 1999. We invite you, after viewing the session from last week, to watch the second half of David Kelley’s two-part lecture on Choosing Life and his inspirational analysis of the longstanding Objectivist theoretical debate over whether one should choose to live because life is a value, or whether life is a value because one chooses to live.
Let Your Truth Flag Fly!
Depending on where you live, you might see flags signaling this or that aspect of woke ideology. Well instead of waving the flag of identity politics, how about a flag emblazoned with the law of identity itself? With your very own “A is A” flag, you’re declaring your commitment to reality—and reason as your means of discovering it. This 3’ x 5’ flag shows others that you’re keeping it real, no matter which way the wind blows.
